Primary Responsibilities:
Working knowledge of Contract Act, Company Law, Labour Laws, Property laws, FEMA, Intellectual Property Laws, Arbitration Act and Stamp Act
Drafting and Review of various types of contracts such as employment agreements and other employment related documentation, consultancy agreements, service agreements, non-disclosure agreements, memos
Understanding of and support in relation to legal and commercial aspects and compliance in relation to transactions including mergers, joint ventures, acquisitions, share holders’ agreements, buy-back
Analysing the applicability of any law to a situation in hand and understanding the implications of inclusion or otherwise of any clauses in the Agreement
Process development and legal research
