Role-specific skillsets:

Accountingconcepts & Processing

·      Requiredto be an expert in accounts payable, and accounts receivable and should haveexposure to all the sub-processes of AP, AR (Invoice Processing, VendorManagement, Reconciliation, Expense claims, Sales Order & InvoiceProcessing, Customer master management, Reconciliation, Cash Application,Credit note issuance, debt collection, etc.)

  •          Goodunderstanding of concepts of accounts payable accounts receivable  and the complete cycle of P2P, O2C
  •          Clearunderstanding of taxation relevant for the AP, AR processing e.g.:- service tax, VAT, customs excise, etc.
  •          Goodunderstanding of all legal and statutory requirements of a domestic AP, ARprocess
  •          Comfortableworking on excel and other MS-Office tools
  •          Hands-on experience on working on any ERP e.g. Oracle, SAP, Tally, etc.
  •          Hands-on experience in working inprocess with a well-designed workflow structure
  •          Exposure to designing andpreparing various MIS reports
  •          Experience in handling variousaudits e.g SAS, ISO, etc.
  •          Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, andother quality concepts. Practical experience in implementation of theseconcepts would be an added advantage

Strategy& Planning

  •          Leadoperational and strategic planning for the team assigned, including fosteringinnovation, planning projects, and organizing and negotiating the allocation ofresources.
  •         Abilityto handle multi-tasking roles and ensure proper coordination with multiplestakeholders.
  •          Benchmark, analyze, report on andmake recommendations for the improvement and growth of the service delivery.
  • ·       Develop business casejustifications and cost/benefit analyses for various tasks to be delivered. 

Operational Management

  • ·       Manage the deployment andmonitoring of resources in performing the various tasks assigned.
  •          Work with stakeholders to definebusiness and process requirements for a new and better way of deliveringactivities.
  •          Direct involvement in identifyingand developing tools for enhancing team performance.
  •         Manage staffing, includingrecruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, evaluation, and disciplinaryactions.
  •         Approve and oversee projects andproject portfolio
  •         Liaison with other operation teamsfor carrying out day to day to activities and ensuring that the operations runsmoothly.
  •  Establish and maintain regular written andin-person communications with the organization’s executives, department heads,and other stakeholders

Tobe tailor-fit for the above skillsets, you need to have,

  •          Adynamic personality and a passion for constantly improvise technology to suitthe organization’s needs
  •          AB.Com/M.Com/MBA/CA/ICWA degree along with prior exposure of 11-15 years inmanaging AP, AR processes
  •         A flairfor leading a team and bringing about the best in people (minimum 2 years priorexperience in a managerial role)
  •          Thedrive to bring about change and a desire to constantly look for ways to usetechnology to derive efficiencies.
  •         Anability to understand the organization’s goals and objectives and link themwith the deliverables of the assigned function, in addition to overseeingdelivery and operations
