JOBDESCRIPTION:

Yourjob responsibilities will include,

 

GSTCOMPLIANCE SUPPORT (DEPUTATION REQUIREMENT):                                                  

 

SUPPORT IN RELATION TO FORM GSTR-3B FILING& ITC RECONCILIATION AS PER COMPANY RECORDS (GLS) AND GSTR-2B

 

       Preparationof Input Tax Credit (ITC) / Purchase Register.

       Verificationof ITC in relation to procurements, imports, and stock transfers and clearancein SAP.

       MonthlyITC reconciliation between GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B, and Purchase Register / company expenseGLs.

       Preparationof RCM workings, and reconciliation with GSTR-2B.

       Availmentof eligible ITC on goods / services, and/or reversal of blocked ITC erroneouslyclaimed, if any.

       Follow-upwith vendors and dealers in relation to ITC mismatch.

       Verificationof documents (invoices, credit notes, debit notes, bills of entry, etc.) inrelation to inward supplies.

       Computationof final ITC to be availed/reversed and final GST liability.

       Assistancein preparation of payment challan for payment of GST liability, if required.

       Preparationof GSTR-3B return and related workings/schedules for allocated States andsharing with reviewer.

       Co-ordinationwith ASP / GSP / Consultants for filing of GSTR-3B on GSTN portal.

 

SUPPORT IN RELATION TO INPUT SERVICEDISTRIBUTOR (ISD) FILINGS

 

       Verificationof Purchase Orders and coordination with Procurement team for necessarychanges.

       Coordinationwith Finance team for sanitization of Purchase Register.

       Coordinationwith vendors and dealers to ensure use of ISD GSTIN in the documents.

       Preparationof workings for distribution of common services ITC through GSTR-6.

       Preparationof distribution invoice(s) for issuance by ISD GSTIN.

       Passingof correction entries in GST returns on periodic basis.

       Reviewof open line items and reconciliation with company GLs.

 

SUPPORT IN RELATION TO FILING OF FORMGSTR-9 AND FORM GSTR-9C

 

       Assistancein preparation of GST Annual Return and Reconciliation Statement in prescribedformat i.e. GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C (inward supplies).

       Co-ordinationwith ASP/ GSP / Consultants for filing of GSTR-9 & GSTR-9C on GSTN portal.

 

OTHERMISCELLANEOUS SUPPORT                                                                                          

 

       Computationof cross charge workings and invoice preparation.

       Coordinationwith various departments such as Finance, Accounts, IT, Admin, Procurement,etc. in relation to GST compliances.

       Maintenanceof records as required under GST laws for allocated States and retrieve them asand when required.

       Retrievaland sharing of workings / documents / information/ past records etc. with taxteam / Consultants for any scrutiny / inquiry / assessments / litigation / appeals,etc.

       Stayupdated on latest tax rulings, changes in law and update the Taxation manualaccordingly.

       PrepareMIS and reports for senior management in respect of the allocated states, asand when required.

       Liaisewith external auditors to ensure smooth audits and reporting for quarterly /annual audits.

       Preparationof Clauses 27 and 44 workings from statutory / tax audit perspective.

DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE:

·        A strongpassion and interest for GST

·        Shouldhave experience in GST compliances.

·        SAP andExcel Knowledge. Also, proficient knowledge of using Computer systems andGovernment websites.

·        Basicknowledge of Indirect tax laws

·        Ability to work in a team

·        Comfortable with department liaising, ifrequired.
