Client Overview

Sarathy Geotech is a leading deep foundation testing company based in India. With a strong presence in the Indian market, the company provides specialized testing services for deep foundations such as pile load testing, dynamic load testing, and integrity testing. ​The key objective was to gain a deeper understanding of the end users’ decision-making processes.

Our Approach

• Conducted 100+ telephonic interviews with a mix of small to medium construction firms and industry consultants in key cities such as Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam. These interviews helped us gather preliminary insights on service expectations, key challenges in the foundation testing process, and typical service delivery criteria​.
• Conducted 15 face-to-face interviews with project managers and engineers working on large-scale infrastructure projects.​
• Held 10 interviews with key industry experts, including representatives from government agencies, industry associations​.
• Through our interviews, we identified the primary pain points for end users, which included service delays, lack of on-site technical expertise, and high variability in the quality of testing services across providers​.

Impact We Created

• Our research revealed that majority of respondents ranked quick turnaround times as a top priority. We recommended that the client streamline its testing process and reduce lead times to gain a competitive advantage in the market​
• Majority of the construction firms we interviewed indicated that they would prefer to work with providers who offer on-site technical support during testing​
