About the department: Our BFS Operations team provides comprehensive support to clients across Wealth Managers, Asset Management Companies (AMCs), and Banks within their back-office operations. We support functions across Mutual Fund, PMS, and AIF operations—covering the entire lifecycle from client onboarding, transaction processing, reconciliations, and regulatory compliance to reporting.
We also manage data administration and accounting for single- and multi-family office setups. In addition, we assume Finance Officer positions for clients based in the UAE (DIFC region), managing their capital adequacy and regulatory filings.
By partnering closely with clients, we ensure seamless execution, accuracy, and adherence to SEBI/DFSA norms while maintaining robust internal controls and audit readiness. By combining deep domain expertise with a process-driven approach, we help clients streamline portfolio operations, strengthen compliance frameworks, and enhance transparency in client reporting. Our focus extends beyond execution to process improvement, automation, and risk mitigation—enabling clients to scale efficiently while meeting evolving regulatory expectations.

Role Description
The Assistant Manager will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end wealth and fund operations, managing regulatory and financial reporting for DIFC entities, supervising operational teams, and ensuring accuracy in client deliverables.
The role requires strong domain knowledge across wealth operations, fund accounting, IFRS and regulatory compliance, along with the ability to manage client relationships and drive process improvements.
In addition to operational responsibilities, the role involves active client engagement, commercial oversight, and team management. The candidate will coordinate closely with internal teams and clients to ensure smooth execution of operational processes, compliance with regulatory requirements, and timely completion of deliverables.
This role will also include managing billing processes, following up on client collections, coordinating vendor payments, and supporting recruitment and onboarding of team members to ensure operational continuity and scalability.
The candidate will also be expected to identify and drive additional business opportunities from existing clients, working closely with internal teams to expand service offerings and strengthen long-term client relationships.
Key Result Areas:
1. Team Oversight & Transaction Accuracy Ensure 100% compliance with maker-checker protocols across all transactions. Supervise the junior ops team to maintain error-free execution and resolve escalations with brokers/fund houses within 2 working days.
2. Fund Accounting & Regulatory Compliance Manage AIF Category II fund accounting, including capital account maintenance and investor reporting Ensure accurate NAV calculations, fund-level accounting, and investor allocations
3. Client Coordination & Fund Onboarding Facilitate seamless onboarding of new funds by coordinating with Relationship Managers, Legal, and Tax teams. Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and within agreed timelines.
4. MIS & Reporting Accuracy Maintain up-to-date and error-free MIS dashboards for all key operational metrics, including transactions, revenue, and TDS, with weekly updates and full audit readiness.
5. Financial Reporting & Audit Support Manage statutory audit coordination, including responding to auditor queries Support financial reporting, accounting, and reconciliations Ensure timely preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules
6. People Development & Team Culture Regularly mentor and provide performance feedback to junior team members. Promote a culture of accountability, learning, and high performance within the operations team.
7. Process Improvement & Risk Mitigation Identify and document at least one operational gap or control risk per quarter. Collaborate with the Tech team to implement process enhancements that deliver measurable efficiency or accuracy gains.
