Ravindranath Menon

Ravindranath (Ravi) Menon has extensive international experience spanning India, Southeast Asia, Greater China, South Korea, and the Middle East in pharmaceutical, medical device, and consumer product industries. He has successfully established startup businesses as well as driven growth in more mature organizations. Ravi has a proven and effective leadership style with excellent communication and interpersonal skills that have enabled him to build, lead, and motivate high-performing teams across diverse cultures. He has also successfully built and managed complex relationships with joint venture business partners in India and South Korea.  Having played pivotal roles in both direct operations and strategic leadership of different businesses, Ravi brings in a broad perspective to his role of advising clients in the healthcare and FMCG industries.

Ravi spent over 21 years at Allergan Inc. and built very strong businesses in Ophthalmology, Aesthetics, and Neuroscience. In his last role with Allergan, Ravi was the Vice President and Managing Director (India and South East Asia), based in the Asia Pacific regional office in Singapore. Additionally, he served as a Director on the boards of various Allergan entities in the region. During his tenure there, Ravi worked in multiple General management roles and has led the regional marketing function for ophthalmology.

Ravi, a pharmacy graduate from Mumbai, began his career in India as a Management Trainee in 1978 after completing his post-graduate studies in management from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM A). He moved to the consumer products industry with Wipro Ltd. in 1981, where he worked in various roles and acquired an excellent foundation in sales and marketing. Ravi was General Manager, Marketing for Wipro Consumer products when he left the organization in 1993 to return to the pharmaceutical industry and join Allergan.

Since May 2015, Ravi has been advising organizations as a consultant on commercialization strategies. He currently serves as an Independent Director on company boards.

With Nexdigm, Ravi is responsible for expanding the firm’s presence in South India, with a special focus on Bengaluru and Chennai, and for strengthening the service delivery for the healthcare industry in the Asia-Pacific region, including India.
