Role Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated Associate –
Outbound Sales to support business development for our Market Research and
Consulting practice. This role focuses on generating new business opportunities
through outbound sales activities across global markets including India, APAC,
EMEA, Europe, and the USA.
The candidate will be responsible for identifying
potential clients, conducting outreach through cold calls, emails, and
LinkedIn, generating qualified leads, and supporting the conversion of
opportunities into research projects. The role also involves coordinating with
internal research and operations teams to support proposal development and
client engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive outbound lead
generation through cold calling, cold emailing, LinkedIn outreach, and
targeted prospecting.
- Identify potential clients
globally across India, APAC, EMEA, Europe, and the USA that require market
research, consulting, or competitive intelligence services.
- Build and maintain prospect
databases across industries including logistics, healthcare, technology,
agriculture, infrastructure, mobility, and financial services.
- Reach out to decision-makers
such as strategy heads, business development leaders, procurement teams,
and research managers.
- Generate qualified leads and
schedule meetings with prospective clients.
- Identify and track Requests
for Proposal (RFPs) and Requests for Quotation (RFQs) through procurement
portals, online platforms, and industry networks.
- Support preparation of
proposals, capability documents, and commercial quotations in coordination
with internal research and operations teams.
- Participate in client calls
to understand research requirements and help translate them into project
scopes.
- Maintain consistent
follow-ups with prospects and nurture relationships to convert leads into
opportunities.
- Track outreach activity,
leads, meetings, and opportunities through CRM or internal sales tracking
tools.
- Support senior sales
leadership in pipeline development and market expansion initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in
B2B sales, lead generation, or business development.
- Experience in outbound sales
activities such as cold calling, cold emailing, and LinkedIn prospecting.
- Strong interest in selling
consulting, market research, or knowledge services.
- Good communication and
presentation skills.
- Ability to engage with
international clients and conduct professional outreach.
- Strong organizational skills
and ability to manage multiple prospects simultaneously.
- Comfortable working with
targets related to lead generation and meeting scheduling.
- Basic understanding of
market research, consulting, or advisory services is preferred.
