JOBDESCRIPTION – ASSISTANT MANAGER – FINANCE & ACCOUNTS (GENERAL LEDGER)

 JOBDESCRIPTION:

Yourjob responsibilities will include:

 Accountingconcepts & Processing


·       Required to have a goodknowledge of accounting concepts related to Profit and Loss Account and BalanceSheet

·       Understanding the keyareas about the finalization of accounts and the complete cycle of R2R

·       Good understanding ofthe direct and indirect tax applicability and compliances and requirements ofreport submissions.

·       Experience in handlingmonth end activities along with preparation of all the control accountschedules and other related activities.

·       Good knowledge andapplication of accounting standards under Indian GAAP

·       Strong analyticalskills and should be comfortable working on excel and other reporting tools

·       Experience of workingon SAP, Oracle or Tally.

·       Need to be exposed tohandling various types of audits for e.g., SAS, ISO etc.

·       Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma,and other quality concepts. Practical experience of implementation of theseconcepts would be an added advantage

Strategy& Planning:

·       Lead operational andstrategic planning for the team assigned, including fostering innovation,planning projects, and organizing and negotiating the allocation of resources.

·       Ability to handlemulti-tasking roles and ensure proper co-ordination with multiple stakeholders.

·       Benchmark, analyze,report on and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of theservice delivery.

·       Develop business casejustifications and cost/benefit analyses for various tasks to be delivered.

  

OperationalManagement:

 

·       Manage the deploymentand monitoring of resources in performing the various tasks assigned.

·       Work with stakeholdersto define business and process requirements for new and better way ofdelivering activities.

·       Direct involvement inidentifying and developing tools for enhancing team performance.

·       Manage staffing,including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, evaluation, anddisciplinary actions.

·       Approve and overseeprojects and project portfolio

·       Liaison with otheroperation teams for carrying out day to day to activities and ensuring that theoperations run smoothly.

·       Establish and maintainregular written and in-person communications with the organization’sexecutives, department heads and other stake holders.

DESIREDCANDIDATE PROFILE:

·      Adynamic personality and a passion to constantly improvising technology to suitthe organization’s needs.

·      B.Com/M. Com/MBA/CA/ICWA degree along with prior exposure of 8 - 10 years inmanaging General Ledger processes.

·      Aflair for leading a team and bringing about the best in people (minimum 2 yearsprior experience in a managerial role)

·      Thedrive to bring about change and a desire to constantly look for ways to usetechnology to derive efficiencies.

·      Anability to understand the organization’s goals and objectives and link themwith the deliverables of the assigned function, in addition to overseeingdelivery and operations.
