Bimal is a seasoned veteran whose nearly four decades of work experience spans across Assurance, Tax, Due Diligence and Valuations. His forte lies in understanding the needs of his clients and helping them.
Bimal had been a member of the Board of Directors at PricewaterhouseCoopers Pvt Ltd (PwC) in India and was also part of the India Leadership Team. He spent over two and a half decades at PwC and held various senior leadership positions across functions and sectors. During his tenure, he led Accounting and Financial Diligence, Valuations, and Merger Ratio engagements. Prior to PwC, he worked at Bansi S. Mehta & Co. where he spent the first decade of his career, rose to the level of Partner, and gained invaluable experience.
Bimal has worked with some of the largest listed and non-listed domestic and overseas multinationals and private equity clients. He has served clients across sectors including Aerospace, Defense, Automobiles, Education, Retail, Energy, Media, Entertainment, Hospitality, Financial Services, Industrial Products, Infrastructure, IT/ITeS, Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals, Telecom, as well as Travel and Tourism.
Bimal is an Independent Director on the Board of Directors of Jio Financial Services Limited and certain other companies.
Bimal is a qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI) and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce.
On a personal front, Bimal enjoys travelling, reading, watching movies, and listening to music.
