Job Description

Primaryskillsets:

·        Responsiblefor effective provisioning, installation/configuration and maintenance ofServers and network appliances like firewall, routers, Access Point, etc.

·        Ensurethe complete Network is live and running as per the company defines procedures

·        Indepth knowledge of systems like Routers, Firewalls, Managed Switched L2 &L3, Access Point and Network Monitoring tools

·        Responsiblefor supporting, maintaining and monitoring systems like Routers, Firewalls,Managed Switched L2 & L3, Access Point and Network Monitoring tools

·        Responsiblefor research and development to ensure continual innovation to secure theexisting network from new threats

  • Minimum 3-4 years L3 level experience of handling Fortigate Firewall, CISCO Routers, L2 & L3 cisco switches
  • Mandatory certifications in CCNA/CCNP/CCIE  and Sonicwall Firewall
  • Hands-on on configuring different routing protocol, BGP configuration and stringent access policies on CISCO routers, Sonicwall Firewall
  • He /she will be entrusted to lead a team and his/her primary responsibility will be to maintain, monitor and completely manage the networks, it can be a LAN or a WAN network. Ability to train the network administrators to carry on the job.
  • Set permissions for access; assign different levels of access to different levels of authority.
  • Testing the network for weakness and plan the remedies.
  • Design a new network, set rules and procedures for the Network.
  • Develop a clear cut disaster recovery plan enabling the organization to recover from any unexpected outage.
  • Create new Hardware requirements and ability to design a new Plan for networking in the organization.
  • Lead network infrastructure expansion project considering planning, managing, implementing and delivery in time.
  • Ensure timely DR testing and work on the findings.
  • Lead, guide & monitor the network team, day today support, administration activity and BC PDR testing.
  • Handling of the network incident and doing RCA, finding improvement areas.
  • Ensuring the proper closure of Network & Security audits.
  • Coordinating with different teams for smooth communication and to ensure the timely deliveries
