Primary Job Responsibilities

Support in India Site Activities

  • Support and review of Site FOOP and Capex, including month end check and posting (Budget and forecast will remain with India Ops Controller)
  • Preliminary review and support in site improvement initiatives by providing input, validating calculations, follow up on updation. (Overall responsibility and business interactions with India Ops Controller)
  • Month end reporting - Capex, Opex, Site Cockpit, Savings, Monthly Report, Production data to Government, etc. (Review by India Ops Controller)
  • Efficiency/ Variance Analysis - run reports, check major variances, discuss with site team after month end
  • Other month end activities - check on process order close, coverage & efficiency impact, utility accrual, investment creditor posting, inventory balance review, FA addition/deletion, STF.
  • Adhoc costing requests (Month end costing and RM pricing with India Ops Controller)

Global Capex Activities

  • Month end investment creditor posting - WD2
  • BW Capex report circulation with Ops Control - WD3
  • Update flat file for Power BI - WD4
  • Recon between Power BI and BW Capex
  • Capex monthly report with split - WD 6/7
  • New Capex code updation in file
  • Support on adhoc queries from team
  • Power BI development support

Global R&T Support

  • Asset project code creation - along with maintenance of SRM approval flow
  • Hours writing  related trouble shooting
  • Month end close  reporting activities - Project Review, Missing Hours, PO YTD Overview
  • Adhoc request (mainly related to specific project report, or any specific spend report)

Cost Monitoring

  • FME preparation for non-manufacturing FA
  • Refresh 020 report

Manufacturing Control Support

  • Report refresh (FOOP, Coverage check before FME, Actual vs FME for all 6 manufacturing items) - mainly during FME  cycle and WD 2-4
  • Power BI development support


Required Skillset 

  • 4+ years of experience in financial reporting, management and accounting
  • Technical capabilities - Reporting, Advanced Excel, Accounting knowledge, SAP, Project Management, Business Warehouse and Power BI
  • Non Technical capabilities - Strong communication in English, Coordination, Financial awareness, Timely delivery with quality
