TheCoE has three functions:
· Business Solutions (Nexdigm’s in-houseapplication development team)
· Process Excellence
· Tech Scouting
TheBusiness Solutions Function is responsible for developing applications forNexdigm’s internal use, and occasionally for clients. We are predominantly onthe Microsoft stack. While most development is done in-house, we also outsourcedevelopment to a couple of partners. We also works with staffing firms to meetits resourcing requirements.
Lead the Business Solutions Function to deliver technologysolutions that bring measurable benefits to Nexdigm and its clients, withinbudgeted time and cost. (Objective isto use technology to drive our delivery and process, not to build softwareproducts for generating revenue).
· Work closely with the CoE Head to define Nexdigm’soverall technology strategy to support business objectives, and set clear goalsand priorities for implementing the roadmap
· Work closely with other departments including theother functions in the CoE, CISO, and Business Heads so that tech solutions areclosely aligned to the needs of the organization
· Develop and manage annual and quarterly budgets
· Lead and manage the in-house application developmentteam including project managers, analysts, developers, and testers
· Build and manage vendor relationships includingoutsourced development partners, staffing partners, and product suppliers(including Microsoft)
· Implement robust SDLC processes includingtranslation of business requirements to system design, and development,testing, delivery, and maintenance of software applications
· Review technical aspects of agreements withvendors (eg. products and implementation partners) for
· Make technology decisions, ensuring technicalexcellence, versatility, safety and soundness, resiliency and scalability inthe architecting and engineering of solutions, including
o architecture of a solution and how technicaldecisions may impact business outcomes, and suggest new solutions /technologies that better align to business requirements
o clear architecture plans and defining andestablishing the architecture associated with a solution component
o clarity on non-functional requirements (systemuptime, concurrent users, response time, transaction volume, etc.) and addressthese requirements during architecture definition phase
o appropriate hardware requirements for thesolution and plan the same with the infrastructure team
· Conceptual skills (ability to see the bigpicture, derive plans from goals and objectives, grasp complex ideas and comeup with answers for difficult problems)
· Solid understanding of broad technology trendsand the ability to align innovation with business goals.
· Deep understanding of technologies and theirapplication in the commercial, professional, and consulting domain
· Solid knowledge of frameworks and processes relatingto the software development lifecycle
· Commercial acumen
· Project management (organizing, resourcing,prioritizing, expediting, taking practical business calls)
· Communication skills

Engineeringgraduate with MBA from a reputed institute;
PreferredCertifications:
· Exposure to and experience working withMicrosoft Office Apps & Services, and Business Applications, while alsobeing able to bring together diverse platforms, products and solutions, tosolve business problems and meet business users’ requirements will be a distinctadvantage.
· 13 to 18 years of which at least 6 should be inmanagerial-leadership roles
· Track record of demonstrating the requiredcompetencies and delivering the ‘what is involved’ above
· Preferably in Service-oriented businesses
